The Renegade - Jawara Alleyne

In this short film in collaboration between Jo Fetto and Jawara Alleyne, The Renegade presents a time-bent reflection of spirituality and circularity in the guise of a fragmented dreamscape.

Leaving the pieces of this visual puzzle open to the viewer, The Renegade follows the seemingly never-ending voyage of the captain across five cities: Ecru City, Bauxite City, Sun City, Hellscape and the Coves.

The Renegade acts as a continuum piece, approaching queerness as a turbulent and complex practice. Curiosity leads each vignette to the limits of their respective mediums, exploring podcasting, meditation, 3D design, performance art, spoken word and music with eclectic aplomb.
