Grand Tour (2025)

The odalisque is not simply a victim of the gaze, but a figure forged by it—aware of its violence, yet skilled in its choreography. 

In a decadent Naples, Michele and Alessio are drawn to a mysterious tourist, heir to the Grand Tour. Amid gold and rituals, desire and power blur, echoing a city staged for foreign eyes, forever trapped in its own spectacle. 

Born from Béla Tarr’s Naples Film Factory, Fetto aims to question the portrayal of Neapolitan youth in response to the infamous Grand Tour, Wilhelm von Gloeden’s erotic portraits and the neorealism allure of its colonial imprint over the city.
